A Beloved Christmas Eve Tradition
The Rotary Clubs of Epping held their annual Christmas Eve Carols on the Green and the event was a resounding success. Residents and visitors alike gathered for a joyful holiday celebration. Against the backdrop of Epping’s idyllic town green, over 2000 people from Epping and other nearby towns came together in good cheer and festive spirit for an unforgettable evening.
Now in its 21st year, the event has grown into a beloved tradition for the Epping community. It began with a humble karaoke machine and 50 attendees and has since evolved into a cornerstone of the town’s holiday celebrations. Led by a choir performing holiday favorites, families joined together in singing classic carols, reflecting the Rotary Club’s dedication to fostering community spirit and goodwill.
The Rotary Club’s commitment to charitable giving was also on full display, as the event served as a means to raise funds for local schools Music Departments. The 2023 Christmas Eve Carols on the Green not only provided a magical and memorable experience for all who attended but also highlighted the Rotary Club’s year-round dedication to making a positive impact on the community.
