The Magic of Rotary Shines at St. John’s Christmas Tree Festival 2024
The playground at Ivy Chimneys School was filled with excitement and cheer on the 10th of December, as Santa made a grand entrance on his motorised sleigh. Greeted by enthusiastic children jumping up and down with joy, Santa managed to complete four full circuits of the playground, much to everyone’s delight.
After his festive laps, Santa joined the school year groups in the assembly hall for a lively and heartwarming Q&A session. As always, the children eagerly responded to Santa’s classic questions:
- “Are you pleased to see me?” (Cue Santa’s cheeky, “Sorry, I can’t hear you…!”)
- “Have you sent your Christmas present list to Santa yet?”
- “Have you been good this year?”
The interactions were completely unscripted, making for plenty of laughter and unforgettable moments.
A fantastic time was had by one and all, leaving everyone in high spirits for the festive season.
